We were tasked with migrating the company’s current legacy system and introducing a web based Case Management solution for a law firm.

The system would allow the firm to track its clients and the different stages they are at with them and to also introduce a portal to help maintain cash flow. A document repository for sensitive documents has been introduced which use Office automation to merge word templates with the SQL Server database. There are future plans to introduce a web service link to manage real-time money transfers and financial data between law firms and third party clients.

Mobile Applications

Our customer needed a mobile warehouse management solution to scan barcode products on a wireless device and update it's invetory stock in real-time.

It wanted to serve it's staff better and more efficiently by providing warehouse staff with real-time access software on a smart device such as PDA or a rugged handheld suitable for warehouse operations. Without real-time access the process was labourious and inefficient, having to make use of a normal pc on a trolley with a scanner.

Technlogies used: Windows Mobile platform with Visual Studio 2008, the .NET Compact Framework 3.5, SQL Server Compact 3.5
